ABOUT ROSENWERTH PHYSIOTHERAPY
ROSENWERTH PHYSIOTHERAPY is a private physiotherapy practice owned and run by Tomasz Rosenwerth.
Tomasz Rosenwerth is a young, progressive physiotherapist who graduated with a B.Sc. Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town in 2020. He is currently completing his M.Sc. Exercise and Sports Physiotherapy at UCT.
In 2021 Tomasz completed his Community Service at Nala Hospital in Bothaville, Free State, involving himself in various community projects, at the local high school and working with disability centres in the area. He also gained valuable experience volunteering in the Emergency centre at the hospital, assisting the doctors wherever possible.
During this time he completed his Level 1 and 2 Dry Needling course under the tutelage of Koos Bierman.
Upon returning to Cape Town in 2022 he set up his own practice working alongside Mike Van Rheede at the Sports Rehab Centre. He is concurrently working as a physiotherapist for the University of Cape Town Rugby Club, understudying Mike with the Ikey Tigers.
Tomasz has always been keenly interested in sports-related injuries, having played rugby for UCT’s Ikey Tigers between 2017 and 2020. The experience gained through his involvement on both sides of this high level competitive sport, as a player and physio, has developed his knowledge and skills through practical application.
Tomasz believes in taking care of the mind as much as the body and practices this philosophy by approaching the treatment of his patients as holistically as possible.
